just wanted to say thanks for turning up today at Southport to mark Bigmommacains ( ) birthday,hope you all enjoyed the dinner and the day out at the seaside.

Must echo the above. Don't think I've done a 150 mile round trip for fish & chips before but well worth the effort, just to see their faces when we trooped in at lunchtime & asked for a "table for 25 please"

Good grub, good company & turned a few heads with our line up of 14 Bongos on display, just a shame the cold north wind decided to turn up too.

What a brill meet , happy birthday bigmommacain nice suprise considering he was only expecting four of us.
and the chippy dinner was fantastic, what service could not fault them 25 plus bongo people all wanting dinner at the same time, and they never batted an eyelid. thanks to Harry (hatris) for forewarning them yesterday even though we could not give them any numbers.
will post some pictures when i get chance. and im sure others will as well.

Well we were just doing a bit of bargain hunting in Southport, as you do with the credit crunch and all, and whadda you know - a whole bunch of Bongos parked up, cool as you like!

Nice scran as well, can't beat a large haddock, chips & mushy peas for breakfast

Thanks to all for the lovely cards and prezzies, great to be around my buddies once more!

The chippy dinner was top notch, though i was a little dissapointed to discover that pot noodles weren't on the menu...

It was a great day out, spent with great company, with a true friendee north west feel to it

The penny actually dropped today when we passed morrison's garage in southport, and saw Hatris making their way in...I thought it a bit of a coincidence!

Then i saw the line of bongo's as we pulled into the car park....

It really was a day to remember, can i take this opportunity (again) to thank all involved that made today so special.

It was a bit windy wayne... Dave was just making sure that blobbers bongo didn't blow away! (wow, a bongo kite!)
