can any one tell me were the sensor/button thingy for rear interior light is??
it comes on when the door is first opened but then goes out when door is
fully open??

It's in the rear door handle - skoosh some WD40 around inside the back panel might sort it.

Take some piccies if you have to get in there, need to sort mine out at some point

If you jiggle or lightly tap the rear tailgate latch when the boots up, the light should come back on..
There is some sort of negative earth switch in the boot release mechanism...

I agree with Dandy about the WD40, but ideally the contact needs cleaning.
Something which i've yet to do on mine!!
