Bongo Fury

hi all,
my v6`s mot is due in early february and i`m expecting to have to change the front discs as there was an advisory on the last mot for slight grooving.i`ll also change the pads too.is everything i`m likely to encounter the same as on the diesels?i will check the anti roll bars and drop links and adjust the handbrake etc.does anyone know whether any of the fact sheets for the diesel bongo will help me?is handbrake adjustment the same on all bongos?

Had to do my rear brakes for mot rear pads went and scored the disk, being naughty i just put new pads on and drove it for a couple of months that nearly took the score out a little left but hey it passed i'd be looking to see why it scored the disk

If there wasn't/hadn't been any trapped grit between the pad and disc, the chances are the pads had been allowed to get too low at some stage in the past.

Some easily overlooked mot passing tips... Keep washer fluid full,replace the slightest dodgey looking wiper blade,check horn, get a helper to check the lights prior to the mot, check the lights in all possible combinations in case of dodgey earth. Remove the skinny spare if you are still afflicted with one. Remove the flair if you are still afflicted with one. Switch off turbo timer if fitted. Swap over any fancy "show use" bulbs. Take the bongo for a damn good blast beforehand to help with the emissions check, ensure you have sufficient fuel.

I fitted diesaal pads jamie, i assume the disks are the same, can't remember if the fronts are vented tho, so maybe that diff to the diesals have they got solid disks anyone i cant remember on mine without looking.
