Firstly apologies for the post - I've searched but I can't find exactly what I need

I have a Hawk Remote Locking kit ready to fit, seems fairly straightforward apart from one thing - where the best place to take the 12v +ve feed from ?? Do I need to go direct to the battery and somehow run the wire into the Bongo? Is there a convenient wire I can splice into ? I looked at the fusebox datasheet, there's a fuse for "additional equipment" can I somehow connect to that ?

Apologies if these are dumb questions - mechanical is OK, electrical is a mystery.......

The factory fitted option uses fuse 4, so that is probably the most suitable. See http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/member ... usebox.pdf for details

Some folks splice into the wires which run to the microswitch INSIDE the dribers door - The c/l unit lies inside the door too - this eliminates the need to run the wires into the door..

Full details on the factsheet :D
