Thanks for the factsheets

I had the heater fan resistor problem the other day - fan bearings stiff, resistor overheated and solder joints melted. I repaired the resistor and stripped the heater motor to clean and lubricate - whole job done and dusted in about three hours. So a big thank you to this forum and a special thanks to whoever wrote the fact sheets. I wouldn't have had a clue where to look otherwise and the money saved has paid my membership for the next few years... =D> =D>

Nice one =D> Yet more proof to show that just changing/repairing the heater fan resistor isn't enough, you have to check the fan motor to se why it went in the first place.

Excellent news and great to thank those who make the effort to do factsheets.

I speak with a sense of guilt as I was due to carry out an amalgamation of those very sheets but didn't get around to it - if Ian is reading this and I can still help, I will try and make a better if belated effort. On the other hand, someone who has actually done the job and is much better on fixing things than me would be a better candidate (hmmmm - now who could help on tthat score   8) )

I did take a load of photos with such a thing in mind (at some point maybe  ) when I was doing Vicky007's, but deleted them off my phone somehow in transferring then to the computer #-o Not quite as good at button pushing as fixing stuff

Yes, if I wore a hat, I would take it off to all those stalwart experts who take the time to write these most excellent factsheets. =D>

Thank you all.

Happy New Year.
