I've just repaired a Ford Zetec engine which had a damaged rocker cover gasket. Ford, in their infinite wisdom, decided that although the gasket could be removed, they would only supply it with a new rocker cover for £140. I used some high temperature silicone sealer on the existing gasket & it worked perfectly. It saved me £135 too.

The actual gasket can be done with the stuff out the tube but what about the bolt guides and seals?

Not too sure what the bolts / seals are like on the V6. One tip I was given was that if the rubber has gone hard & brittle, you can use some LM grease which will soften it up slightly which may allow them to be re-used. Good luck.

Hi,
Try your local Mazda dealer, I find mine the cheapest normally for parts and they are normally with me in the post the next day. You will need your chassis number for them to look up the parts.
PM me if you need the details of mine as not all are bongo friendly.
