The answer is more than 1...

How do I get at the rear lights on my Ford Freda? Tried undoing a couple of bolts at the side but there seems to e something else holding it.

Remove the two obvious screws then push the unit sideways. You might need to give it a gentle thump to get it to move. 8)

When I tried that it looks like the whole rear unit moves. Its a mew-style Freda, S reg. You reckon just give it a good shove?

I don't know if the new Freda is different - mines an older one. On mine the whole unit comes out as one.

The bongomaster has a youtube video on how to take a rear light cluster off, it's top viewing.

But don't follow it #-o you'll break your lights - it slides out sideways after undoing the 2 screws, don't try & lever it out as in the video

New or old, same principle applies, same mounting points, and anchorage clips.

Some are a bit sticky, and need some GENTLE persuasion! Tap the light unit from the inside, outwards...then towards you.

If it's any consolation,no way are they as tricky to remove as the plastic covers for the mirror base!
