Hi Thanks for the response yesterday on checking oil. I have now done that & found it to be a little bit low.
Where do I put the oil in to the autobox & what oil would you recommend?
Thanks for any help.
Roy

It goes down the dipstick tube - you need a funnel and you must use ATF (Automatic Transmission fluid)

Thanks, I did wonder if it went down there with it being such a thick tube.
So any auto transmission fluid will do then, thought it might have to have a special type.
Thanks a lot for the response.

If your existing ATF is a bright cherry red colour, then it's fine to top up via the dipstick tube with a non specific Automatic transmission fluid. Just steady as you go,and allow the fluid time to settle before re-checking the level. For a more accurate reading of the level, you'll need to get the box up to temp.

The recommended ATF is to Dexron 3 specification. I used Comma AQ3 from my local motor accessory shop - much cheaper than Halfords.
