Bye Bye Billy

Well. Have taken a deposit from a guy for our Bongo this weekend, so thats it for us.
Billy Bongo is now owned by a University Lecturer from Lancaster Uni, so I have told Billy that from now on, he will have to be on his best behaviour.
I have mixed feelings this evening. Part of me is relieved that the "selling" part is over (I hate selling stuff - would rather just trade in) and part of me is gutted to be bongoless.
I had the oil and filter changed this weekend and I was looking at my engine and how clean and new it looks compared to other cars I have owned and it dawned on me that this is the reason we took 3 months to find "the one" It really has been a great van.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank a few people for their friendship and warmth these last few years. You know who you are so I wont embarrass you by putting your names on here. But THANKS guys and girls.

Erin, the girls and I would like to attend North West and Yorkshire crew meets in the future, even if its in a tent.

Its been a blast. From Pete's first ever Stainforth meet, the unforgettable Hill of Oaks Windermere boating weekend, Buxton Typhoon season and a quick visit to the Silverdale Soakers.

All the best everyone,

Dave and Erin and Honey Bunny Bee.

All the very best for the future Dave & Erin. You were amongst the first to welcome me into Bongoland and its a sad day etc.....

But life does move on and none of us will be Bongo owners forever however we feel now. Hope you'll keep coming to Bongo meets regardless.

My "overgrown toddler suit" kept me bone dry.
Until about 30 seconds before we left.
That was when a person who shall remain nameles (but has a lot of pink on their van and a liking for moving avitars) decided to move all the water from their awning, straight down my neck.
And at £12 from lidle, my all in one waterproof suit is great.

I might be tempted to wear it for you in the future Cat. Happy birthday.

Mmmm. Erin has actually mentioned caravans twice this week without swearing.
I think my sales pitch of a built in shower and toilet might be tempting her.
Although we never get weekends off together so it might be pointless.
