obvious questions first.
is the handbrake fully on. and the gear in park?
have you pressed the release button in the roof.?

Also, if it is stuck up, try disconnecting and cleaning the junction boxes under the roof (rear drivers side) and spraying them with WD 40

good luck

no point in telling him how to manually lower the roof, if its a simple fix.
we dont know if he has tried these yet.
its a bit like breaking the door down on your house without trying to see if its unlocked.

Well said Dave, the manual doesn't cover what is basic to us, so all good points.
Where are you Adrian? Someone local could well meet you, or recomend a good, local, Bongo garage.
Otherwise it's basicaly alan keys, disconect the motors, chuck a rope over the roof and pull it down, tie to handles inside doors and drive SLOWLY to garage.

Do I get a gold star?

Glad it was a simple fix, it's a horrible feeling when nothing happens when you press the switch
