New here today.
Have seen Bongo I am keen on-however on doing a DVLA Vehicle Identity Check-no details could be found.
Guy has had for 18 months also knew previous owner.
Anyone know reason why I could not find on DVLA site?
Cheers

Sometimes a number/letter is wrong when making number plates (saw it on one of those Police Stop type shows the other night) - can you check with chassis number?

My Bongo was originally insured with Lifesure by me using its chasis number when it left the importer to go to the converter in January 2007. When the conversion was finished and ready for collection it was registered with the DVLA by the converter. I informed Lifesure of the registration number it was given.
I have had no problems renewing my road tax on line so all transactions must have been completed. If your Bongo is converted into a campervan I would suggest that you contact the converter for information on the date that all the paperwork was completed and sent to the DVLA.
