blackpool illuminations 18th october daymeet

Post by dreamwarrioruk » Sun Aug 31, 2008 12:50 pm

hi all

on the 18th october we plan a day meeting at blackpool.
we have a carpark available for us via info from andanden. we meet up there in the afternoon, do our own thing
then meet back when the park closes at 8.30pm followed by a slow convoy drive down the main drag
with or without roofs up and with or without our own fairy lights flashing.
should look good whatever happens.
i must thank jo for this. it was her idea, also andy and denise for the local help.
la bit of info for the carpark. Postcode FY4 3RN .Would it be worth mentioning that there is a Mcdonalds, Morrisons, chippy, Subway all near by for those that maybe arnt going round Blackpool during the day .Just a thought

we could drive with the roofs up if not too fast, could also put our own lights around them like snowkiter does.

ive posted some dates at the top, we would be going down spending the day there ie on some of the rides and looking around then would be going down the drag at night last thing after looking at the illuminations. got back about 12.30 this morning after being at skegness yesterday. buggying at mablethorpe then finished of the night in skeggy.seeing their lights made me think about blackpool again.
