New Year Bash in the North West

We know its early, but plans need to be put in place.
Is anyone interested in a New Years Eve bash at the Red Lion, Tarporly, Cheshire, this year?
If we can get enough numbers, we can have the whole field to ourselves, but we need to know numbers fast.

Please note as with Harry's advice on the organising of any future meets, so not to cause upset or confusion?
Dealings with this meet will not be done with anyone else but the meet organiser and the Red Lion. Please post your intentions on this thread. Any extra nights must be organised between yourselves and the Red Lion.

If anyone is interested, please post below. I will add names to this first post as we go along.
Please ensure you state how many people per unit too please. Please also post how many nights you would like? As New Years eve is a Wednesday, I know it will be difficult to have more than the actual Eve, but I for one will be booking the Friday off work, so will be staying a few nights.
This information will help towards sorting a deal with Lyndsey. This meet is being organised with up to 3 nights available. Wednesday 31st, Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd

If we get enough attendee's, around 15 units , give or take, Lyndsey at the Red Lion, said we can have the whole field just for Bongoliers.
Details are being drawn up at the moment, but I believe there is entertainment on and of course, fun n games.
Electric Hook up will be available, around 7 points I think, but with splitters, I am sure we can sort out extra's. Please post if you do not require hook-up to help along please.

If I we get enough interest, then Lyndsay said she will give us a good deal, with entrance into the pub included. A lot of pubs in and around Cheshire (and the country), charge for entrance on New Years Eve, so the total price will include this, so you know where you are financially.

What about kids? Tom's dad is going to Morocco so if we come, he'll have to come with me. I'm a bit worried that it may be too cold for him, but I suppose I could bring extra quilts and all the hot water bottles.

I'll ponder on this if there are any more kids going

Please count me out of this one.

1, Too far for a mini meet
2. I'm almost certain to have a Mountain rescue callout over new year (12 in the last 15 in the Lake District.

If I go anywhere it will be a mini meet at Tan Hill for us up in't far north.

I'm still looking forward to a big pre christmas party bash though.

Have a good time and don't drink too much.

Well done rooster. Put me down as a provisional - I'll have to wait/see if family will allow and/or if a gig turns up. Sure you understand 8)

Just a couple of points...

If you have children under 18, they will not be allowed in the pub after 9.00pm

Rooster, is the plan, to hit the main pub for the eveing, or to have a marquee?
