Which Brake Pads?

I replaced my brake pads not so long ago, having bought some via ebay.
I'm horrified how much black brake dust they give off all over my shiny alloys. :(
Can any one recommend a cleaner alternative set of pads please
regards lochan2

I bought mine from Bongobits. Put new ones on rear wheels yonks ago but haven't needed to fit front ones yet (slight miscalculation on the overcautious side!!). But I've no dust coming from rear discs that's for sure, so maybe try theirs?

I've always wondered why so many cars suffer from this. Is it because garages are fitting cheapo products perhaps? Dunno.

But the Bongo has been unique and outstanding for the complete lack of brake dust that appears on my lovely alloys - I hope it stays that way [-o<

Just a thought - softer (& therefore more dusty) breakpads should wear out faster than the disks. I've has two cars that needed new disks after about 30K & that to me would suggest that the compound on the pads was too hard. Embrace the dirty look & think how much longer those disks will last :)

Interesting thought. I had wondered about that from time to time, but put my trust in the manufacturers (fool?)

Top Tips!

Mine has only been dusting up since new pads for the MOT. They've obviously chucked in the cheapies.

Wouldn't have connected the two on my own though, well done. =D>

Will get the right ones next time. Don't like that blackstuff on my precious bits.
