Red Lion, defo on, alternative to Charity Farm

As Charity farm is looking doubtful, a suggestion from NeilT was made about the Red Lion at Tarporly.
With electric hook-up (limited) £8.00 Per Night All In.
There are already about 6 going, so the option is there if anyone else wants to take it.
This is not in anyway taking the P*** out of the CF meet, as CF looks doubtful, I need a definate answer and have got one from The Red Lion.

Is there going to be communal food here or are we all doing our own (or buying from the pub!)

The pub does do food, but we will be doing a BBQ, also Tarporley is about 3 miles away, and has a nice takeaway.
If you get time Blackemere is just down the road

As we will not have a Marquee, unless things change at CF, there will be not much room.
We will try and bring a gazebo, but as it is only 3mx3m there will be little room for anyone else.
If the site gets busy, they would ask us to take it down anyway, so I think for now, as this is a last minute thing, we will have to give it a miss.

Karl, just so I don't get this wrong, when you say "unless things change at CF" do you mean that if the meet goes ahead in the rally field, that you will be going there? I'm getting a bit confused (which is quite normal for me) and I need to be where there are adults to talk to - my boy is lovely but I can only take so much 5 year old chatter before my brain starts to hurt.
CF sounded like a great place to be, just because there were quite a few peeps going and I would have loved to have gone. Now I don't know what to do, should I pack the van and wait to see what's happening at CF and if that's cancelled, come to the Red Lion? Or should I just head straight for the Red Lion?
Decisions, decisions!!

Jacky, the Red Lion is on....we are going now.
What was meant, was that we have no Marquee, but if things change at CF, ie, total cancellation, then DBO is welcome at the Red Lion and he may bring the Marquee.
I see what you mean about things being read wrong. Sorry hun, I should have been a little clearer.

Hi Mark,
Just had to kick Caz off, lol, ho hum, trouble at'mill.....
I would get here quick.
There are others coming, but a tenter has just arrived and apparently there is a caravaner on their way. Paul9 should be coming too, with 2 mates, as well as 5 other Bongoliers. So it is going to fill up quickly.
