Hello All,
My aircon works really well in the back, but not the front

- any ideas?
Steve.

Are you getting air blowing through? It could well be the linkage, under the dashboard, by your left knee.

Its 2 completely seperate systems, if there's no air blowing through, could be the fan or fan speed resistor, there are factsheets in the members area that should help. if the fan is blowing but the aircon isn't cooling, could need recharging (try kwik fit) or belts under the passenger seat? Did it ever work to your knowledge?

Many thanks for the help.
Yes, it worked well, then one day de-gassed itself, so I re-gassed it with both systems running, but since then the front blows, hot and cool, but not air conditioned cold air.
Presumably there is a valve which opens the circuit which may be stuck - any ideas where it could be found or does the front circuit it have it's own recharge point?
Thanks,

Thanks,
Yes - I believe it's behind the radiator.

That's the one I used to recharge it, so it must be for the whole system.
All the levers on the heater are working correctly, I assume the radiators should both be cold when the system is running, obviously the front one which is higher is not cold - I wonder if it simply needs some more gas.
Perhaps Kwikfit is the solution

.

i thought there were two re gassing points for the air con ,because they are two separate units for front and back. (i could be wrong and usually am)
