Greetings, thankyou. That'll be the reason why I can't get there. Being 'out' here in the colonies, (bottom left hand corner of the south Pacific), next door to the old prison colony. They keep pinching our 'stuff' and hence we don't have any money so I can't afford to pay to be a member. Cheers.
PS, what are you doing, being awake at this hour of your morning :D

12 British Pound = 32.61860 New Zealand Dollar

You will easily save that in a year and I really do think that if you can't afford that you can't really afford a Bongo.

But as some of the benefits aren't really available to owners like you, I wonder if Ian has considered a slightly lower membership rate for overseas owners?

Greetings All, yes, if it was up to me I would but I guess you mean the other Ian, not me........
Now it's ineresting someone mentioning all those poonds and savings. I've owned my Bongo now for 5 years, bugger, other than oil and filters I've done not much, they go like a stallion. I'm loath to take it to the dealer as these were never sold new here and the locals look down on them. Don't know why, they're great. I've only just had the auto serviced, at 130oookm and was told the boxes are bullet proof??? Tyres battery and wipers are it other wise. Now, if you want to get your nighties ripped to bits, have a look at friendee's or freda's on, 6U.trademe.co.nz double bugger.
The one 'problem' which I had a while ago and you guys were helpfull about (I mean that) was an indicated over-heating, of the engine coolant. It was our summer, at the time. Believe it or not, a very helpfull chap in Mazda NZ (can't tell you who it was, they might shoot him) got in touch and we worked through the 'problem' which wasn't really a problem, just the time of year and maybe a dodgy thermal sensor on the front of the engine, near the drivers left knee. I was VERY worried about the lower rad hose being cold after 10 mins driving and the rad fans not turning on. Put my mind at rest by buying an infer-red, point the spot at the surface and it tells you the temp., temperature gauge. Well, the engine wasn't overheating and it all looked as thought it was doing what it should.
I might just have too get my white stick out and tap about 'till I get it right. Then again, after 150000km of trouble free (oh bugger, shouldn't have said that should I???) motoring maybe I should spend some dosh, maybe I'll buy a cambelt and box on. Trouble is, all the gloves I've got, have velcrow on them............. [-X :^o and the sheep will complain if they're dirty. #-o
Cheers, Ian. :D

Tried than NZ trade site and it's almost impossible to use.

If only seems to work with Internet Explorer and doesn't seem to have a search function either.

Useless.

I had trouble but found this link

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/SearchR ... h&x=13&y=4

It worked for me.

There seems to be a few bargains over there.
