Central locking problem

Hello!
Our bongo has developed a very annoying central locking fault - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
(I've tried the search thing, but couldn't find anythin to help!)

It usually doesn't work when we have our hands full, and really don't need the hassle of walking round locking every door.
As Sophie is 9 months pregnant (tommorow!), we could do without this trickiness!

Anyone any advice as to what the problem is, and how to fix it??

check the wires that run from the door to the car, this is where mine broke. Quite a common fault :D

This sounds like the wire loom that runs from the door post into the door.
The wire hardens after a long while and eventually with the opening and closing of the door, wires break. Sometimes when you open the door, then close it again, the wire will tclose the gap and whatever the faulty unit is, will work.
Like I said, it sounds like that type of fault, but it needs investigating before you start to strip doors, wires, etc...

I'll have a nosey at it tomorrow...it's still TOO warm outside to go delving at the mo.....
