I know this has been asked before but I can't find it SORRY

I want to wire the front 12v socket to stay on without the the ignition being on I hope someone can point me to the post.

Just run a wire from the Battery Pos terminal (with a 10 amp inline fuse) to the back of the socket.
Unplug the wires that are already on there. (like a black female plug)
Connect the new pos wire to one of the terminals with a female spade connector and connect the othey to earth.
Job done...use a decent thickness of wire if you are going to be running cool boxes etc.

Or use Haydn's method but to a socket or 3 way socket fitted on the back of the centre console, leaves the lighter socket free then

I have just fitted a leisure battery and a VSR by following the excellent instructable written by corblimey which I found from a link on the website. This now leaves me with what to do next about connecting the accessories to the leisure battery.

My plan is to run a fused (25amp) live wire from the leisure battery into the fuse holder situated below the steering wheel and attach the wire to a new independent 4 way fuse holder then remove and attach the cables from fuses 1, 6, 7 and 8 into my new holder.

Can anybody confirm that I am on the right track or if I have made some sort of schoolboy error.

you do not need to remove the cables from the fuse holder, 1 (interior lights),6,7 (left/right blinds),8 (ciggy sockets) are the right ones , use the four wires with a fork connection on each end of the wire, cut half the fork off, remove the fuses and replace the same size fuses in the new holder for each wire, then push the fork (patch) into the bottom half of the fuse you have taken out.
This way it can be reversed if needed, without having to cut any wires in the loom behind the fuse holder,
