I have asked this before and printed off the instructions but have lost them and cannot find any on the search. I need to replace the rear nearside speaker which has never worked although fitted, I will now sit back and await the many replies, lol. Thanks in advance peeps.

Remove the bottom seatbelt bolt......Then ...just carefully pull it off....it is only "clipped" in. As it comes away unplug any wires that are attached.
Just had mine off...Quick easy Job.

Just got the thing pulled open enough to get at and detach the speaker wires, tested em and DEAD, tried a new speaker in case... nothing not a peep. Now I can change a speaker no probs but trying to trace the wire which seems to be heading towards the rear of the bongo is a bit much, guess I will have to live with three speakers lol. Thanks Haydn.

Check that the "other" end of the wire is going into the radio. Make sure you are getting output from the radio. If you are then check the wire for continuity with a meter.

Thanks, that is my next jopb I suppose, when it stops raining lol, if all else fails I could just run a wire from the offside speaker across the car to the nearside one, I know it would be proper stereo but at least I would get even sound.
