Is it normal to use the Bongo users manual pressures or do members up the pressures a little, to take account of extra weight either of the conversion or when loaded to go on holiday?

A question that has been bouncing around for a while . . .
I've very recently changed my wheels. The original 15" alloys seemed happiest at 40 all round but the new 18" felt a bit "skitty" at the front at the same pressure.
I have the fronts at 36, rears at 40 now & all seems well.
I think you just need to play around a little with your own particular set-up & find what feels right.
If it feels right, it probably is.

I had 40psi in the rears, but had to replace them due to wear in the middle.

Running on the handbook pressures the tyres always look soft, enough that passers by will tell you that you have a soft tyre.
A lot of people on here run higher pressures, maybe try a search for 'Tyre and Pressures'.
Welcome aboard.
