hi all,
i`m intermittently losing all leisure battery electrics.i haven`t investigated in depth yet,but have notice a lot of furring/white crud around the negative leisure battery terminal, could this be the cause,or just because of a loose terminal?
thanks
jamie

Does sound like problem. If it were me, I'd remove both connectors & clean up each clamp & battery terminal with a small wire brush or some fine sandpaper. Then smear both surfaces with petroleum jelly (Vaseline) which will prevent futher oxidation, but without affecting the electrical conductivity. Good luck.

The sanding of the terminals will increase the conductivity of the connections too, but only temporarily unless the terminals are protected from the damp, as simon suggests....

I use copper grease, this helps to promote a good electrical contact.
