Size of old shape compared to facelift (new) model?

Hi,

Does anyone know how the old shape compares in size to the new shape facelift model. I have not seen a facelift version in person but from photos I have looked at online it looks bigger? Or is it all done with mirrors and distracting scantilly-clad ladies?

Thanks,

T.

It's an optical illusion, they used different sized scantily clad females to fool us all!

As far as i know the measurements are the same (or very similar at least) except the freetop on the new shapes elevates a little higher.

The width and height (with roof closed) is identical, the length may be a centimetre or so different cos of the different front bumper....maybe.

The differences are mainly cosmetic, other than the improved ability to see in the dark with the modern 'crystal' headlamps.

Main differences have been listed on a recent post (will find later)

Dimensions are the same

Yep - same size apart from a few external bolt on trim parts and a roof which goes up an extra 6 inches or so (pain in the rear as I cant reach the cancel button without standing on the seat  ).
