Well guys only on Wednesday did I fit my coolant alarm thinking great that will give me piece of mind for the summer trips hopefully I wont need it.

What happens today I head out for a quick run to the shop only to smell coolant on my return journey & discover my radiator leaking :x :x so theres a couple of hundred quid I'll not see again

I'm trying to look on the bright side at least she didn't overheat as the new coolant alarm didn't even get to sound.

Where is the best place to buy a radiator from quickly as I'm heading away on Wednesday.

Hi
Several of us have bought radiators from Iezura on e-bay....quick and efficient...you must either block the overflow, though, or use a higher pressure cap on the radiator , and lower value on the plastic tank.....AND TAKE GREAT CARE BLEEDING...I think you can get next day delivery on the rad.
Cheers
Helen

Hi bongopatrol, did the level of the header tank drop enough to sound the alarm?
