Bongo Fury

Hi guys,

looks like one of my hoses is about to go again!! The coolant alarm is on but I can't find a leak anywhere..topped it up for now and waiting and seeing...I do know though that the hose to the right of the alternator looks a bit bulgy - it's the one which goes downwards. Does anyone know which hose this is called? I looked on bongobits but can't seem to see one which says alternator hose. ...?? It's not the small one which is on top of the alternator which has protective hose foil around it....

YIP Flippa's the man you need, when i feel the time has come for mine he's the fella i will be speaking to i don't see the point in doing one at a time bigblackbestie flippa's are very reasonably priced for a set and sillacone are reckoned to be more reliable than rubber plus you can choose what colour, i know i shouldnt be flippant about my hoses afterall i stand to cook two cylinder heads but at mo i'm trusting my judgement , as soon as i have the slightest inclin i'm changin them smartish and i do check reg and got coolant loss alarm, be just my luck it'll be an unmatching one for the v6

Hi bbbb, to the right of the alt you say ? is it small bore yes? it may be one of the new lot i have give us a clue to the shape ,maybe a pic would help....i will be up that way in july for the scottish open (loch lomond)

aaah cheff you are describing the catch 22 ...if you garage yours for six months will save on juice and preserve yer mileage...i can borrow ya me bike

That would be flippin marvelous!! Seein as we only live over the hill from the Scottish Open! Will take a piccie and post it soon!!!!Thanks It's not the smallest bore but about the same sizish as the starter motor one!
