Window goes up, window goes down,window goes up, window goes down, sick to death of no window/central locking/drivers door speaker armed myself with bullet connectors and some wire and went for it !. I cut all fourteen wires made 7inch loom and connected it all up,for a man who is s**t scared of electric i have surprised myself to anyone with the same problem dont be afraid the wires are all different colours and it all took three hours.

Well done I think there are not many of mine that are original, the daft loom bunch just bends and wears em out, I am thinking of trying one of the places on the net to see if they have a spare loom, I picked up an alternator recently for £70.00 and that came after I had about 10 e mails and phone calls so there seems to be loads of spares about. Maybe I will give it a go. Who knows if they have a couple perhaps I could put one on evil bay and retire (again) with the proceeds. Lol.

you could replace it and have the same again dave,this way you know its right and ive put plenty of slack in it so you can cut the middle of the gromet in the door side so you can tape it up until it is solid and tight in the gromit...

My wiring to drivers door is wet through and rusty. Keep having to mend the speaker one. Think Platty may have same prob as his door speaker is on the silent side.

I had the driver side front speaker stop working I managed to solder a piece of wire to reconnect, the wires are very delicate

i replaced them all with 5 amp cable,hopefully this will stop them snapping and everything works ok !
