has anyone got or fitted one of these

the reason being i have lost my fitting instructions & need to solve a small problem with the wiring of the box to the bongos wiring, i dont need a copy of the instructions just need you to let me know if the hard wired 12 volt wires are switched will i lose all the pre stored programes ?

i hope someone can help

i know roosteruk has a freeview box ( not sure of make or if fitted yet ) maybe he can help [-o<

Yes you will lose all settings when power is disconnected, but it does use less power in standby mode. Also look into a better aerial as the stick is useless. Not a bad unit but a shame it doesn't have the interactive service available.

i will switch the live feed as i keep draining my leisure battery, i dont use the bongo during the week sometimes for a couple of weeks and the freeview draws the battery down, i have been searching for a few switches to fit in the left hand side of the dash board, Image

any ideas where i can get the illuminated type switches from ? i have 3 blanks in there at the moment ,

no it dont lose its memory it just keeps running my leisure battery down over a period of 1 to 2 weeks, once the leisure battery goes flat i also lose my central locking, my electric mirrors, dvd player, rear blinds, etc etc, i will put a switch in line to stop this happening but i have been having trouble locating a switch that fits in the hole left after the blanks have been taken out, cheers, lee
