HI All
My Bongo is the type with two batteries under the bonnet can I replace the battery that is not the main battery with a leisure battery? Does the main batter currently charge this secondary battery?

Hope someone can assist, and well done to all those fantastic conversions.

Cheers

Shane

its charged by the alernator and connected to the other battery yes.
It would need disconnecting and a Split charge relay being installed
Plenty of info on here try searching for Split charge relay

i have changed mine and bought a kit off ebay already made up for the bongo, the guys name is Willinton on ebay, his VSR relay kits are the bees knees and come with easy to read and follow fitting instructions, if you type in Willington in the search engine theres a few threads about him

if you look on ebay - then its "willinton" - no offfence waycar8, quite a few put a 'g' in. I use his relays with my own systems - excellent.

Non taken Madmile  8) ............shane.h if you just look for bongo leisure battery trays on ebay it will be willinton  , he makes those also, so if he has no relays or wiring kits for sale just give him an email

the wiring kits are great, easy to fit and they make all the interrior lights, radio, blinds and cig lighter work off the leisure battery so then you dont flatten the starting battery

this is the kit i bought off him a while ago
