The frony wipers I got from ebay do not fit my 95' bongo as the fittings are too narrow. Could anybody tell me where I can get some that actually fit. Also my wiper arms are quite rusty and I was wondering how much the whole thing would be to replace and is it a difficult job?

Hi there,

I got some retro fit flat wiper blades from ebay, they fitted well and work a treat. Ebay item number 160238976087 is an example.

Regarding the wiper arms they can be a big of a pig sometimes to get off the spiggots.

Depending on how bad they are you could just rub them down, treat the rust and respray them. Or get some better ones from a breakers.

Hi,

The wipers I bought didn't have any extra fittings, they just litterally fitted on, and the fitting is very good as it has a 2nd cover that locks it on.

Wasn't planning on fitting them at that time, but on the way home one of the original normal ones fell off so that forced the issue.

I'd say they work alot better so worth the money.

You might find that the extra fittings are in a small box, stuck at the bottom of the outer box.

The replacement wipers I got from the Bongo Shop didn't fit!! I had to go to Halfords to get a correct replacement. The problem was excactly the same, on the biggest wiper the fitting was too narrow.

Mine wiper arms were the same, remove them, give em a quick rub down (scotchpad is ideal) Then give em a coat of acid etch primer, then a few light coats of satin black for a new factory look  Mine still look like new after 2 years! \:D/
