Air Con Condensor/Radiator hole - V V Expensive

The air con condensor (radiator) has been holed by a stone in my beloved Bongo. A replacement has been quoted at £340+VAT not including fitting and regas. Sadly as my bongo is a new shape(W), on old shape part will not fit. Does anyone know where I might find a 2nd hand one or know a repairer in the Swindon/Wilts area? The hole is v small but enough to render a/c useless.

I'm amazed. I'm sure you've found out why, I would be very interested in the answer.
Meanwhile have you tried these people:

Hi, definitely try Bell Hill, also Alans Vehicle services and I'm sure someone mentioned there was a bongo breaking on ebay too.
Good luck, how come ones from the pre face lift won't fit, didn't realise there was so much difference?

that doesn't sound too bad a price as things go. I was quoted £400 for one for my import MR2, 3 years ago

While you are fitting your new one, it may be worth your peace of mind to do this too:-

Quick update - I went to arrow radiators in Melksham (Cheers Trevd01 - I'd already googled them), sadly its not repairable as the damage is right at the edge of the rad and so won't take the pressure. They are however custom building me a brand new one for approx £100 cheaper than the replacement Mazda part (TOP TIP)
I will keep you posted, will need to find somewhere to get it regassed once its been built (5 days). The old/new shape condensors are VERY similar but sadly the attachment is slightly different, enough so that the are not interchangeable. They have separate Mazda part numbers
