Hi
Our friend and neighbour over here wants our old radio to put in his Fiat, as he's got a load of cassettes....can anyone help with a diagram of what wire goes to which terminal on the sockets at the rear?
Thanks in anticipation
Cheers
Helen

I've got a plug that converts from the mazda radio to standard iso which i can post to you. Don't know if it will ever get there but it might be worth a try

Ah, but that (Halfords) connector won't work on his Fiat because the Mazda Radio has a Mazda connector on the back, right? So you'll be needing a female Mazda to male ISO, right?

However, the adaptor will have a male Mazda with a female ISO, I think. I might have this argument the wrong way around, but I think the moral still stands. The connectors won't fit. Also, his Fiat might have a Fiat's-own connector, not an ISO cable to connect to, so it would just all be confusing.
Good luck with this though!

also...... won't the mazda radio be jap frequencies, so you'll need a band convertor as well
it might be easier to get a aftermarket unit from somewhere.....
I've got a goodmans cd player or I think a pioneer cd player in the loft...I'd happily give you, but I'm sure postage would make it crazy

Hi, Stringman
That lead might be handy, as he can pug it in and solder the wires on the back to the loose Fiat wires....I'll P.M. you
Hi John
Is that a radio as well?...I can pay the post for them....they would be chuffed to bits...so many of the ordinary village people are very poor. I'll P.M.you
Cheers Helen
