If I fitted 195/65 15" to the front of my Freda rather than the 70's would there be a problem? (lower top speed? slightly worse fuel compsumtion?)
Re Wipers, is their a like for like buy of the shelf? I was in Halfords today (hate to admit) and really so many wipers/blades/fittings. Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Skidmarc!

hi skidmark i aint sure bout tyres but you can buy wipers off the shelf

the best thing i could suggest is measuring the size of your wipers and then goin somewhere like halfrauds and getting them , or you could go on evilbay and get the aero type which are good they cost about £12 delivered

If it is a 4wd, no. Tyres have to be within about 1% diameter, the 65 series will be too small. If a 2wd, probably - it would just make it a tad lower at the front.

Tyres , no problem on a 2WD ( same size I have)
I take it these are the £35 fitted Barum Vanis tyres?
They wear well and are nice and cheap to replace into the bargain
As for wipers, just buy the cheap 24" replacement rubber inserts and cut to length as all three wipers on the Bongo are different lengths.
Cost about £5 all in from my local car spares shop and about 10mins to complete
Cheers

Thanks, I'll give the 65 Tyres a go. Re wipers, one is 24" and Halfrauds didn't only seemed to go to a 22" insert...the 24" probably out of stock. I then decided to get the whole thing (less the arm) and there seemed to be many types of click attachment. Anyway I may just get the whole proper Bongo thing inc the arm as the paint is coming off and makes me think they may of seen better days. Cheers everyone!
