any petrol v6 owners?i`d love to hear your experiences.

hi,
i have a 1998 petrol v6 with a tappetty engine.i`m slowly going over it bit by bit and hopefully will soon have it ship-shape.i`d love to hear an other v6 owner`s experienes,and tips.

Ive got a '99 V6 its a bit tappetty for the first few minutes then quietens down, its only done 39k klms so it shouldn't be due to wear, might be due to sitting around for a while?

hi,
thanks for your reply.i added some of that after my oil change.it did quiten it down a bit,but i only used one bottle,supposedly enough to treat 3-6 litres of oil,and i think the v6 is 7 with a filter change.

I might be wrong but I think its 4.5lts without filter 5lts with.
