I have a leak on the rear of the injection pump. It's coming from a circular bolt which has three flats. The bolt is situated in the centre of the rear of the pump and is surrounded by the four injection outlet pipes.I want to know if I can safely undo this bolt, seal and replace it without disturbing any internal parts. There is also a 12mm bolt screwed into this larger bolt which I have removed and replaced.Apart from this leak the engine is running perfectly but I need to stop the leak to get a mot.I just bought it and I can't use it yet :(

My pump is leaking from the bolt/plug at the BACK of the pump.If the injector pipes are removed it is quite visible and easy to get at.It is about 20mm in size and there is a 12mm bolt screwed in to it.What i want to know is,can the 20mm bolt be removed without dislodging any internal parts.thanks
