Braille parking - can anyone help with sourcing a panel?

Hello,
Sorry for barging in but this is nothing compared to my recent parking incident. Have ended up with a damaged offside 1/4 panel and wheelarch trim. Ouch.

We are going through the insurers but they may start umm-ing and err-ing about the costs and their garage reckons parts will be very hard to get. Am hoping to pre-empt a write off scenario with magic answers of my own.

Are Bongo panels hard to come by? A quick internet search has left me very worried so any encouragement gratefully received.
Cheers,
E

Have a look at this site http://www.lushprojects.com/bongoparts/pages/ to identify the parts, then contact your nearest Mazda dealer for a delivery time.

Thanks, John. That's excellent. A 74-100 it is then. Let's hope they say something less than 4 weeks...

Chances are you'd be able to find a decent rear quarter panel second hand plymouth.. The arch trim may be a different story though, try to get this repaired as they are prohibitively expensive to replace.

Plastic-weld will help if we are talking about cracks, body filler could be used to disguise/blend in a repair.

Why don't you pop into BongoBits in Faraday Mill. They can get most parts from Japan as well as 2nd hand spares.
