After a recent service at my local garage, in which they found a leak in a very long hose which is part of the water system.my bongo for no reason made a hughe bubbling sound for around 1-2minutes smelt funny and that was it. I had the bongo pressure tested but all seems fine now. Should I be worried. And does anyone know a Bongo Specialist in E.sussex if you think I need to see one.
Cheers
Ritchie

Sounds like it burped up a big bubble as it hadn't been bled properly. Black mark in the garages schoolbook but guess you got away with it. If in ANY doubt at all though get hold of the proper bleeding instructions (no, not swearing

) and ask the garage to re-bleed it as per

Many thanks guys. I have only had the Bongo a short while and am a little paranoid so this freaked me out a bit. However you have really put my mind at rest
Thanks again
Ritchie.

I'd mention it to the garage anyway ritchie, just in case any problems crop up.... It's "on record" then if you have an overheating episode in the near future. Best to be on the safe side

Keep your eye on the coolant level daily for a while

Worrying times. After my bongo has leaking problems and has been bled and refilled, I still had loud bubbling and horrid smells. I had to see my doctor.
Sorry about that.

Thought I might say this first, many more will agree.
Buy one of Haydns' low coolant alarms & while at the garage, get them to pop it in.
Its a reassuring piece of kit that lets you get on with worrying about other things.
Plenty of info if you search on here . . .
