Bongo Fury

Hi this is my first post so hopefull I will get it right!!

I have an R reg bongo 2.5 diesel and the sediment light comes on when i turn the key in the ignition. It goes off when the engine is running. I have had the fuel filter replace. Is this normal?

It should come on when you first turn the engine on and then go off, if it stays on constantly drain the fuel filter. If it flashes run cos it will self destruct (only kidding)

does the charge light come on with it? if so it could be an indication of alternator problems.

No Kirsty the charge light does not come on with it. Thanks for your help.
