Any one out there ever been brave enough to do a DIY cambelt change on a V6? If so is it dificult?
Local garage told me that it's at least a days job, dread to think what that labour charge will end up being. If wanted to do it myself has anyone actually got an engine manual for this beast? :?

I have been led to believe that it's a trickier task to replace the cambelt on a v6 petrol bongo. I think the going rate for a belt is around £75- £80 too!

The engine is the same as a mazda 929 windy...if there is a manual for that rare beast, then the engine side of it at least could be utilised for use in the petrol bongo.

Speaking of which, has anybody got a spare inlet pulley for a v6?
