Alternative LCD clock with thermometer

I like the useful cubby above my radio and the beemer clocks are becoming harder to find in scrappies, I'm certainly not being robbed for one.
This LCD clock can be hard wired into the vehicle electrics and has int / ext temperature. It also has blue or orange backlighting and an alarm. All for £8 including p+p. What does anyone else think about it???

Thing is, the BMW clock is a lovely ornament (with a Haydn alloy ring fitted around it). It has the unhurried appeal (love the click a minute) that goes with the Bongo. Haydn sells them I think and I thought the price was being held at something reasonable though don't know as haven't checked.

Wonder what the max temp is on outside sensor?
If high enough it could be used to read the water temp

i got a lcd clock with internal and external temp plugs in ciggie lighter and has batteries got it from dear i say Halfords. Used velcro and stook just above centre cosole abobe gear stick. wasn't expensive
