Bongo Fury

I have a front fog light switch spare, and I thought I would wire it to my rear fog to replace the tacky after market 1 that was fitted, it has 4 prongs on the rear, I take it I can do this?

Can someone point me in the right direction on what terminal does what please

Bit difficult without knowing what it looks like, or what it has come from.
Can you take a picture and show it?
If you need to test it, you require a continuity tester to check what contacts do what?
