Great pics there - scenery looks stunning, Bongos look great, and a classic pic of BDC there, posed with his favourite bottle of cleaning fluid.....oh and his immaculate Bongo

Excellent pics Dave and Roseanne I hope you've had a good hols, glad to hear you're back safe. Thanks very much for keeping an eye on me, I'm much better thanks and was even mad enough to go out and face some Yorkshire midges this weekend! The gondola up Ben Nevis was such fun and MM they're great pics of the steam train, I'm looking forward to reading your blog. It was really nice to see familiar faces and meet new peeps, hope we get some more pics of what was a lovely place for a meet.

Cheers Hotpot, glad you're back fit & well.
I've been tapping away at the blog since half ten this morning & only got as far as Wedneday evening so far. Time for beddy byes now - its a school day tomorrow too. Ho-Hum.
Will hopefully finish it off in a day or two. Watch this space!

It was a brill weekend, we enjoyed it so much we will be going back. We spent the rest of the week around Mull, then over to Edinburgh and home via St Andrews (51 miles less than Mister Munkey) Met some great people and saw some eye popping Bongo's (you know who you are - BDC, DBO )
Ps. If you thought the midges were bad at FW you should have tried Mull they were the "Hells Angels" of midges

That must be a photoshopped pic ed..... Who'd polish a bongo on a dusty campsite?edward holman wrote:

Not got many pics from the scottish bash, but here's a selection from the whole 1700 mile scottish experience....
Veg fill up on route to sconney botland.... (i think dabs and dbo were indicating that they'd be ready to roll in one minute...)
A nice bit of hotpot....
A speeder in a freda... (you'd expect better from a driving instructor)
Queuing for the ferrry to lewis (Hi to the nice lady in the green freda that joined the queue, then said hi to us all)
On the road to mallaig... (100 mile round trip for chips )

1700 miles and your vans didn`t even look like they got dirty - Did you have sunshine everyday
If I had all the money I ever spent on my Freda ............ I`d spend it on my Freda.

Yes indeedy, welcome home Bro's, was getting a little concerned there.
Apologies to DBO from Mrs Munkey. She can be prone to rummaging through other peoples drawers from time to time but thats another story!
We came within a midges chuff of heading to Lewis ourselves, will do next time. There's always a next time.
Great pics.
