Hi John
Sorry to be a pest but when you say secondary battery do you mean leisure battery? I have two batteries fitted but think the second is a winter battery. Just bought my Bongo so don't really know much about them,as you can see from all these questions.
Thanks for your help

Thats right. The second battery is part of the Jap Winter Pack & is wired up to boost the main battery rather than run anything else from it.
Its a fairly straightforward job for an auto-electrician to adapt the 2nd battery into a leisure circuit though.

Hi Laurie
I believe this is the relevant part of Pippin's instruction for you:-
Cut the thick red/black wire going in a couple of inches from the rear of the fuseholder for 6,7,8. Insulate the end that comes out of the loom.
Use a short length of similarly sized wire to extend the end going into 6,7,8 and tap it into the thick white/red that feeds fuses 1-5.

Hi Laurie
Well that's different

The fuse for the sidelights isn't even in the fusebox in the driver's footwell
I've done that wiring mod with no problems whatsoever, but I can't see how you could possibly get the sidelights on as a result of the rewiring - sorry, but you've got me stumped.
