Temporary fix for the beeps

I do like the warning beeps on the Bongo so I didn't want to disconnect them completely.
So I had a ponder and came up with this reel easy fix. So if you wish to leave the door open on the drive or camp site etc with the keys in have a look.

I cut up a 90ยบ 50mm bracket.

Found a longer screw and some washers.

Fitted it to the door switch fitting screw hole.

And he presto you can swivel the bracket up over the switch when needed and turn it back down when not. It is left on and does not fowl the door.

Only one I find really irritating is the reversing one. I KNOW I'M GOING BL***Y BACKWARDS.

Good idea for the keys-left-in one though mate.

How about feeding the reverse connection to an outside speaker with a voice recording. Something like "MOVE, YES YOU BEFORE I RUN YOU OVER"?

Or rig up the beeper somehow so that it can only be heard from outside the van?

Now, a beeper outside the vehicle makes sense, but inside.....??
