Hi there,
Does anyone know the Torque setting for the front wheel bearing nut? I'd like to service the front disc bearings.
Also, are there any specific steps when tightening?
Thanks for your help!!

When I recently replaced my cv gators I put new hub nuts on and to tighten them I used a 35mm socket and a 3 foot breaker bar to loosen and tighten the nuts. They where tightened up as tight as I could get them , then with the wheel back on the floor and someone pressing the brake pedal tightened it up again - yes that tight

don`t forget the hubnuts are one shot items so must be replaced with new ones when you take the old ones off. Hope this helps .

I should do your best to find out what the correct torque is for the hub nut as 'over' tightening can be as bad as 'under' tightening. Sorry I can't help with the correct figure but hopefully someone with the workshop manual will let you know.

Thanks for that info Dandy, I'm sure it will noted for future use by us all although it seems such a wide range.
In English it is 52 to 70 foot/lbs.
