Green light and cold air

Does anyone know what the green light means on the rear heater control panel behind the drivers seat? There seems to be a cold draught coming from somewhere behind me even though the aircon is off on the front panel - perhaps the rear heater is controlled separately?

Thanks, Simon

If you have the front digital controls the last little button on the right at the bottom of the control panel is for the rear, this should light up when the rear is on, the rear air con can be separately controlled as well, the green light in my car is actually above the rear control panel just below the window but doesn't seem to be anything to do with it as far as my vehicle is concerned, I have asked on a previous thread some time ago.

Hi
The rear heater is controlled separately. There is a switch by your right knee, which is labelled "Rear"...switch it on , and the rear controls will work.

as far as i know
the green light comes on with the lights as an illumination light

and the rear heater should not operate if the front controls are off

On the manual the green light is only to light up
the controls it comes on with the vehicle lights.
The switch nr you right knee marked rear allows
the rear fan to work but it as to be turned on
in the back as well, it the controls in the back
are set to cold and for the high level vents you
will get a cold drought down your neck even if
the front is set to hot, set the rear controls to
hot for a warm neck.
Hope this makes sense.

Ahh so it is on the right on manuals, but in the control panel on digitals.

The other bit may explain why I'm getting a draught. My rear bit is off most of the time and I thought it must be caused by the flappy driver's door syndrome. I will check the rear settings.
