New Year's day at the Tan Hill Inn
Ok you lot....who is going to blow the cobwebs off with a trip up to the Tan Hill inn for lunchtime/afternoon on New Year's day.
I'll be there providing I don't get an MR callout.

Was touch & go for me. Morning after alternator change coolant alarm went off. Stuck a fairly hefty 2 litres in. That afternoon, out with waycar sticking a deposit on his newie, alarm went off again. Hmmmm....
More liquid fed. Made it home okay, this morning an empty expansion tank again. Called on Dr Waycar who came in his figure-hugging overalls, found the leak straight away & showed the way for a thorough bleed & fierce road test.
3 Lessons learnt.
1. ALWAYS disconnect batteries before swapping old for new.
2. That alternator removal can bugger up a couple of sensitive local hoses. Be VERY carefull if you end up crow-baring the old one out.
3. Wayne's a hero.
Short version being, now back on track for NYD but that trip up will be a bit of a test.
Will wear my lucky pants.
