Checking Rear Diff Oil Level

I was about to check my rear diff oil until I couldn't see an obvious bolt on the top. Is it the large bolt you see here in the photo middle-right? I just wanted to check before ending up with diff oil all over the road

Yes that's it it's the level filler hole if non comes out put some in till it does

What red x? All i can see is a pic of a rear diff...
