Harry
We are off up Scafell and Scafell Pike from Wasdale on Sunday providing we survive Saturday nights bout of binge drinking and manage to get out of bed. Is there much snow on the tops at the moment and how high up is the snow line.

hello all tough northerners. Just to warn you that the Anglian contingency will be descending on the bash this weekend, only 3 bongos, 6 adults and one dog could be let out of Anglia at this time. Look forward to meeting old and new friends. We know a few from Dent last year, Dabs, DBO, BDC (from Stourport) and of course Harry from Dent and who popped in for bacon sarnies and a cuppa in November on the North Norfolk coast. If you see us say hi.

Rick and I are travelling up tomorrow lunchtime and staying somewhere en route so hope to be there lunch time ish on Friday.

Look forward to it, we both can't wait.

See you all

Linda and Rick :D

Mountaingoat

High road passes (Hardnott & Wrynose) closed due to ice.

Full snow and Ice conditions above 2,000ft with wet snow. Most streams very high with snowmelt. Conditions not likely to improve before weekend with mixed wintery showers and poor visibility on hills.

Bongo & Tonic...looking forwaed to your bacon butties again. If you need any local contacts for Friday night you can phone me at work..Watchers Wildlife 015395 35910.

cheers
