no alternators on ebay at decent money(190 quid is a no no ) so wondered if others will fit inc the ranger one.

wheelquick in wigan may have one ,at a reasonable price, or you could get yours reconditioned.

going to call shandon electrical in the morning.i had forgot abut them ! . they used to have a fixed price for just about everything. when you called they would just say 45 quid ! lol exchange item and they do all the labour too.. it might be up to around 60 now as it was 3 years since i used them ! very busy place due to top prices 1

I'm certain that my local auto electrician said that he could fully re-furb,and guarantee any alternator for £70...

cheers, need to find somewhere local as i cant drive it as the fans wont come on ance i have jump started it due to no power so it would overheat on the drive to the sparkies. need to find one tat wil deliver an exchange item.

will cal them but at 191plus vat , i would need to buy brush set as i cant justify that amount as its not my vehicle !
