I have just had my bongo’s driver side door lock ripped out - done quite cleanly so no door damage and they didn’t get in which is the good news. Haven’t taken the door panel off yet to investigate but if anybody has any advice I would much appreciate any tips on replacement.

Secondly do any other door locks fit a bongo ?

Do you have a door lock you don’t need?

I will also be fitting an alarm !!!

Bad news, sorry to hear about your lock.
On a similar note,I just broke off the key in the sliding door lock.
Has anyone performed the task of removing the broken bit, it is not sticking out of the lock, so tweezers and the like are no use.
Do I attack it from the inside?

took all my locks out today and all it is, is a u shaped clip that lock around the barrel at the back in the door. chances are the clip has come off so the barrel has slid straight out, its then held on to a bar with a plastic clip

your best bet is 2 needles slid down the 2 thin parts of the key, and slowly usesing them as prisers if that makes sense :? and picking the broken key part up so you can get some long nosed pliers on the end

I've got a full set of 2nd hand locks I don't need.
Gladly sell them to you for what I originally paid.
